ABOUT ME

I am originally from Michigan, finding my passion for students in special education when I was getting my undergraduate degree in psychology from Western Michigan University. I moved to Arizona after graduating with my degree in special education and taught in two public school districts before becoming an instructional coach. Realizing how much of a positive impact I could make working with teachers, I went back to school and earned my Master's degree in Educational Administration from Arizona State University. I was a special education administrator for 8 years and have been trained in the Lindamood Bell LiPS program. Classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and district level-administrative experience have provided me with the expertise to offer advocacy, consultation, and direct services to ensure that the students who struggle most can succeed.
