EDUCATIONAL ADVOCACY
Are you frustrated because your child is struggling and the school doesn't seem to be doing their part?
I will work with you and your child's school to get the support and services needed for success. This typically includes an initial records review, in person and/or phone/email conversations, and potential attendance at school meetings.
EDUCATIONAL CONSULTATION
Are you a school/district that needs help with how to effectively support students who struggle academically or behaviorally?
I will work with your staff to provide quality professional development/coaching in areas such as IEP compliance, how to implement accommodations/modifications, effective behavior management, function-based behavior intervention, how to run a productive IEP meeting, etc. I can help your school ensure compliance and improved student achievement
READING TUTORING
Is your child struggling with identifying sounds and reading words?
I am trained in the world-renown reading program Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing or LiPS. This is a multi-sensory, highly-effective reading program for preschoolers through adults. This program is especially successful for students with dyslexia and/or auditory processing difficulties.
